Wer macht die Stadt? Wer gestaltet ihre Zukunft? Das Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan lädt zu einer Ausstellung und einer Reihe von Veranstaltungen ein, die sich mit urbanistischen Fragestellungen befassen. Im Nextbangalore Gatishil Space kann man mehr über Stadtentwicklung von unten lernen und Teil eines solchen Prozesses werden.

* Das Nextbangalore Gatishil Space ist eine urbane Intervention, die ein leerstehendes Grundstück in einen temporären öffentlichen Raum verwandelt, der einladen ist und allen offen steht. Nextbangalore ist eine Initiative des MOD Institutes, die Zukunftsvisionen für die Stadt partizipativ entwickelt. Nextbangalore Gatishil Space befindet sich auf der Rhenius Street gegenüber vom Hockey Club in Shantinagar.

Wir freuen uns, dass Bangalore eine von 16 Städten weltweit ist, die am Weltstadt-Projekt teilnehmen. Weltstadt ist ein Projekt des Goethe-Instituts und seiner lokalen Partner, das sich mit informeller und innovativer Stadtentwicklung beschäftigt.

Die Ausstellung zeigt lokale Aktöre und diskutiert globale Trends. In Bangalore wird sie sowohl im Nextbangalore Gatishil Space als auch im Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan gezeigt.
