Conference: Urbanism! A debate about urban planning and the profession

Conference: 26.1.2015 // 2 - 7 p.m. // DAZ, Köpenicker Straße 48/49, 10179 Berlin

A lively debate has developed concerning the quality of German urban planning and what type of higher education could improve this. Based on the "Cologne Declaration", numerous articles and comments have come in response to the paper "100% City". But what is the real issue? The state initiative StadtBauKultur NRW and the Federal Foundation of Baukultur, along with the DAZ and Bauwelt invite experts from home and abroad to take a critical look at the practice and training in Germany. At the DAZ-Y-Table on 26.1.2015, the speakers on this topic will include: Markus Allmann, Kristiaan Borret, Frauke Burgdorff, Vanessa Miriam Carlow, Christoph Mäckler, Franz Pesch, Matthias Sauerbruch, Hartwig Schultheiß, Wolfgang Sonne, Jörn Walter and Sophie Wolfrum.
