The AKJAA – Committee of Young Architects – is a network comprised of the younger members of the Association of German Architects (BDA). What makes this group so special is its ongoing discussion on contemporary architectural issues: what do city and home mean today? Regional and global? Freedom and order? Old and new? Convention and conduct? Green and black?
The DAZ presents "From all directions. Positions of young BDA architects", an exhibition of found objects from individual architect’s everyday production processes that provide unusual insight into personal architectural adventures.
The exhibition will be accompanied by a book that reflects on the self-conception and attitudes of the young BDA architects by way of discussions and confrontations with the built environment.
