Showcasing works by internationally acclaimed designers as well as reveilling prototypes by the young talent the festival this year especially focuses on design that makes a difference. Presenting three huge main exhibition zones next to a varied program of lectures, panel talks, performances and parties the festival itself tries to change the city at least for five days.
The exhibition of the DMY Youngsters introduces the up-and-coming generation of national and international designers. Featuring projects, prototypes and close-to-production products, the event presents the freshest design trends, innovations and experiments on a 7.000 m² exhibition space at the Arena Berlin. It is intended for group and solo exhibitions of beginners, students and young design studios, companies or agencies, as well as institutions, design schools and associations.
